Every day you help patients and their families navigate one of life's most difficult journeys. Breast Friends was created to complement your care by providing practical guidance for husbands and partners who often leave the appointment with questions of their own.

Most breast cancer resources are written for patients. Breast Friends fills an important gap by speaking directly to husbands. Its practical guidance can also benefit partners supporting someone they love through breast cancer.

Breast Friends extends support beyond the appointment, helping husbands and partners better understand their role and encouraging communication and support at home.

Written in plain language, Breast Friends offers relatable, real-world guidance that's easy to read and immediately useful.

Whether shared by a nurse navigator, physician, social worker, or support coordinator, Breast Friends provides husbands and partners with a resource they can use right away.

A three-page companion to print and share with husbands and partners beginning their breast cancer journey.

A concise overview of Breast Friends to help you determine whether the book is a good fit for your patients and practice.
Breast Friends was born from experience, not theory.
After walking beside his wife through breast cancer, Jeffrey Allen Solheim recognized an important gap. Most resources were written for patients, while husbands were often left wondering how to help.
Drawing from firsthand experience, personal research, and a desire to support other families, Jeffrey created Breast Friends to serve as a companion for husbands and partners. The book is intended to complement the excellent care provided by physicians, nurse navigators, social workers, and the entire healthcare team.
